Father Nicholas (Tony) Hash is the founding pastor of Saint Joan of Arc Orthodox Catholic Church. Creative, warm, and quick with humor, he loves opening the Word of God through homilies that explore its historical background, deeper meaning, and practical ways to live the Gospel each day.
Devoted to helping the parish and God’s Kingdom grow, Father Nicholas (Tony) welcomes people from every walk of life to discover a home in the Church. All baptized Christians are welcome to receive Holy Communion, and families seeking Baptism for their children are welcomed with care and encouragement.
Alongside his parish ministry, he serves as Major Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Americas of the United Orthodox Catholic Church (UOCC). The UOCC is a Traditionally Inclusive Orthodox Catholic Church, rooted in the faith of the ancient, undivided Church and embracing both Eastern and Western liturgical traditions. Its ministries in the United States and Mexico share one mission: to proclaim Christ, celebrate the Sacraments, and serve God’s people with love.
Though he serves the wider Church as Major Archbishop, his Saint Joan of Arc parish family affectionately calls him “Father Tony”—a name that reflects the close pastoral bond they share. A Benedictine monk and lover of espresso drinks, Father Nicholas (Tony) is always ready to sit down, listen, and talk over a cup of coffee. Just ask!
